Kaizad started his training under the guidance of the legendary Mr Nondon Bagchi from the Calcutta School of Music. He has also achieved distinction for the Trinity College Music Examinations in 1998. Having attended the Benny Greb Master Session Workshops in Germany he has learnt many new techniques and forms of playing and teaching the drums.
As a teacher, he believes in the meditative qualities of rhythm and the many benefits that music has on people of different age groups. He remains dedicated to imparting his knowledge to all those interested in learning the art of rhythm. Kaizad is also a full-time professional musician and performs with bands such as The Jukebox and Banned from Tolly.
Jayita Goswami is a Grade 7 ABRSM qualified music teacher with 30+ years of experience in vocal music and teaching piano. She has planned and taught curriculums for elementary and high school students.
Mrs. Goswami has organized a variety of school choir performances at Modern High School for girls and various Inter School Competitions. She has a stellar record of preparing students for ABRSM exams with a 100% of them obtaining distinction.
Disha Dey is a piano and keyboard instructor who has recently completed her grade 8 examination from the ABRSM board and is currently pursuing her diploma in piano under ABRSM board from the Calcutta School of Music. She’s also a keen western vocalist studying for her Grade 5 exam under Trinity College London. DIsha is also an instructor at The Academy of Musical Excellence teaching piano and keyboard. She has performed in numerous renowned stages of West Bengal, which includes Uttirno- open air auditorium, ICCR Auditorium, Gyaan Manch, Kala Mandir, Sandre Hall, Alliance Francaise Du Bengal and Belur Math. Disha has performed in various music events, such as the Yuva Music Festival, where she was runner-up for the years 2016 and 2017; She was runner up in piano in Crescendo 2009 and 2010 and winner in Crescendo 2010 for western vocals. She also won the Amazon Best Performer Award in Crescendo 2010 in both piano and vocals. She’s also a runner up in western vocals in Regional level All India SST Exhibition.
Soumalya is a well-known professional guitarist and music teacher who has built his musical foundation by listening to the likes of The Ventures, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits etc. Soumalya studied guitar under the guidance of renowned guitarists like Amyt Datta, Vikramjit Tuki Banerjee & USA based Jazz Guitarist - Tim Lerch from Musician’s Institute. As a musician, he has worked with many professional musicians in the country, such as Shilpa Rao, Farhan Akhtar, Mika and Ayushman Khurana. As a teacher, he takes special care to guide his students through the intricacies of playing the guitar and become proficient with the Art of Music.
