Students are taken through various rudimentary exercises and theory and are introduced to the different styles of rhythm such as rock, swing, funk, latino etc. Students are able to reach a stage where they are able to play with backing tracks and accompany other musicians and are also prepared for undertaking exams held by Trinity College, London. Recommended age is 8 years onwards.

The keyboard / synthesizer is an ideal instrument to base one’s musical foundation on and hence, it is the recommended instrument for very young students. It is also appealing due to the various sounds it can replicate and the in-built assisted rhythms that students can play along with. Students are taught on a keyboard with weighted keys which builds their hand strength and prepares them to move on to a piano. Recommended age is 5 years onwards.

The piano is one of the most popular western musical instruments and is versatile in terms of its pitch range, volume and range of chords. Students are taught a range of musical styles from classical to popular music and are even trained for musical exams held by ABRSM, Trinity College etc. Students are taught on a digital piano where weighted keys and pedals are identical to that of an acoustic piano. Recommended age is 7-8 years onwards.
